Jeremy Lazzell

Senior Pastor

Jeremy Lazzell has been the senior pastor at Calvary Bible Church since October of 2012. Jeremy and his wife Tina were married in 1997 and have a son, Jack, and a daughter, Emma. Jeremy completed his undergraduate work at Maranatha Baptist Bible College and completed his graduate work at Northland International University. Jeremy's hobbies include walking and working to connect the Lapeer areas churches together for the cause of Christ. He teaches and lives that the Christian life, in its entirety, is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. e-mail: jeremy@cbcl.org

Nathan Bearup

Youth Pastor

Nathan and Auna Bearup have been working with the Jr. and Sr. High ministries since 2013. Nathan and his wife Auna were married in 2009. Nathan owns a local business and Auna is the director of Child Evangelism Fellowship for the Thumb area of Michigan. Nathan has his Master of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. They both love to work with youth and in music.

Becky Schafka

Worship Leader

Becky has taught piano & voice lessons for over twenty years in the Lapeer area. She started leading worship at Calvary in March of 2021.
